Minnie is a beautiful 7-year-old female cat searching for a new beginning after a very difficult chapter in her life. When her beloved owner passed away, she was removed from the home by animal control — a traumatic and confusing experience for her. She’s been through a lot, and she deserves a place where she can simply exist peacefully and feel safe again.

She’s an independent girl who doesn’t enjoy a lot of petting, but she will come seek out affection on her own terms. With patience and a gentle touch, she will form a quiet, loyal bond. She seems to do well with other cats and would likely thrive in a calm, low-pressure household.

If you can offer her a home where she can “just be” — a soft spot to land, a predictable routine, and love at her pace — she will be forever grateful.

A patient, understanding adopter will help her heart heal. Minnie is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. No adoption fee will be charged if the perfect home is found for Minnie.
