Mel "Mel Belle"

Meet Mel “aka little Mel Belle”! She is a 1 year old Shepherd mix. She is full of energy and would do well in a home with other dogs to play with or a fenced yard to run wild! She loves other dogs and cats! Mel ABSOLUTELY ADORES her human children! She is high energy and still a puppy so kids 8 years or older would be best because she does jump (the foster home is working on this). Mel loves turning the yard into a racetrack and can go from 0 to 60 in 2 seconds flat! She is nervous meeting new people, but once she trusts you she will love you with her entire body! Due to the circumstances in which she was found, she does like to give a ton of kisses to show her love because she thinks she needs to earn it. In addition, her foster mom does leave food out for her and does not let her bowl go empty because Mel was found all by herself in a remote location and was starving to death. She worries that she won’t have food if her bowl isn’t full. Even with food in her bowl she will pull a blanket over it to “hide it” so no one takes it away. Mel is fully potty trained and crate trained. She can sleep in her kennel and does fine, but she would also love to sleep with her new family in bed if allowed. Mel Belle has the biggest heart and has come a long way since she was rescued! She would be the perfect addition to any home!! She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. ADOPTION FEE IS $150.00 plus tax.
