We would like to introduce a special Siamese cat who has been with SVFA since May. Nova was brought into our local pound and went unclaimed. We haven’t listed Nova because he’s an old guy who isn’t in the best of health. He’s skinny and has a hard time putting on weight. Some of that is because he is in kidney failure and eats special food. He also has severe dental disease and has only a few teeth remaining. When he was having his dental work done the vet discovered a hole on the roof of his mouth that allows food and water to go into his nasal cavity. This, unfortunately, causes Nova to have a snotty, runny nose a lot of the time. Nova doesn’t let any of this stop him from being extremely, extremely affectionate, from venturing outdoors or to follow his foster mom wherever she goes.

If you are willing to take on a senior cat who will give you lots of love and affection, please contact us at 840-5047. We would be happy to explain his current medical care.

If you would like to help SVFA to pay for Nova’s medical care, please send donations to SVFA, P.O. Box 432, Valley City, ND OR donate via this Facebook page.

We appreciate your continued support of SVFA and the animals in our community!
